Meet Our Team

Shari was born and raised in Southern Maryland and a graduate of Fortis College. Shari enjoys connecting with patients and strives to educate them about their oral health because she believes that a healthy mouth leads to confidence. In her spare time, she enjoys adventuring, trying new things, and spending time with friends and family. Shari is actually a licensed bartender as well! She is also a huge animal lover and spends time volunteering and fostering for a local rescue.

Keyla, originally from Virginia Beach, is a registered dental hygienist who graduated from Fortis College. As a child, Keyla loved going to the dentist and that ignited her passion for dentistry. Now, she strives to spread those positive experiences to her patients as she enjoys building personal relationships while helping patients improve their oral health. She’s intentional about personalizing each patient’s dental experience so that they feel at ease and supported throughout their own dental journey. When she’s not perfecting smiles, Keyla enjoys spending time with her growing family. She loves to travel, try new foods and spend time in nature.

Candice is originally from Alabama but attended hygiene school at West Georgia Tech. She has been in the dental field for 12 years, starting as a dental assistant in 2009. After discovering her passion for the dental industry and working closely with patients, she became a dental hygienist in 2016. Candice strives to treat each patient like family and to help them achieve optimal oral health. In her personal time, Candice loves to hike, read, and spend time at home with her husband, daughter, and dog.

Karen was born and raised in Maryland, and with Salvadorian parents she is fluent in both English and Spanish. She has more than a decade of experience in the dental field, starting out as a receptionist and assistant prior to becoming a registered dental hygienist. Karen is passionate about helping her community and has extensive experience working with geriatric patients and those with special needs. Karen strives to help each patient leave the visit feeling good and learning something new about their oral health. In her free time, Karen enjoys spending time with friends and family, loves live music, and all things Harry Potter.

K.B. was born and raised in Silver Spring. He has extensive dental experience that spans various dental settings, contributing to his expertise in preventative care and patient education. He finds immense fulfillment in working with a supportive team and building relationships with patients, empowering them to achieve optimal oral health. Outside of work, Kirubel enjoys pursuing hobbies, spending time with family, and exploring personal passions.

Originally from El Salvador, Deysi has lived in Maryland for the past 16 years. After working many years as a receptionist and dental assisting, she decided to pursue a career in dental hygiene. Deysi is bilingual in Spanish and English. She aims to advocate for patients’ wellness and education by taking the extra step to ensure they are comfortable on the dentist’s chair. During her free time, she enjoys dancing, exercising, and traveling. She believes in spreading positivity and welcoming others, especially with a smile!

Oddet is a native to Silver Spring. Oddet is a graduate of Fortis College. Oddet has over a decade of experience in the field as she began as patient coordinator before pursing dental hygiene. She enjoys educating patients about their oral health and creating a safe environment for her patients. She's bilingual in English and Spanish. In her free time, she enjoys going on hikes, traveling, and exploring new restaurants in D.C with her son.

Tulsi was born in India, grew up in Virginia and brings a unique blend of cultural insight and compassionate care to her dental hygiene practice. After earning her degree in dental hygiene from Old Dominion University in 2021, Tulsi has been committed to providing gentle, thorough care while building trusting relationships with her patients. She is fluent in English, Hindi, and Gujarati, allowing her to connect with a diverse range of patients. When she’s not in the office, Tulsi enjoys exploring new cuisines, spending time with family, and staying active in her community.

Kim earned her degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Maryland School of Dentistry where she conducted research on the link between mental health and oral health. She is bilingual, fluent in English and speaks conversational Vietnamese, happy to assist patients in their preferred language. Kim enjoys working with patients of all ages and places a strong emphasis on patient education and individualized care. She has a special passion for working with children and finds it rewarding to support their growth by encouraging healthy habits, both in and out of the dental chair. Outside of work, Kim loves exploring new restaurants and enjoying the outdoors.

Laurie grew up in Colesville, where she attended Paint Branch High School, after spending her early childhood in Haiti. She completed her dual BS/MS degree in Dental Hygiene at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. Laurie enjoys the balance of hands-on care and patient education, and she strives to make every visit comfortable and positive. In her spare time, she loves visiting flea markets, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.

Christina is our office manager and graduated from UMBC with a degree in Health Administration and Public Policy with a focus on Public Health. She was a Dental Assistant during her college career which enhanced her passion for patient advocacy and medicine. Her favorite part of her work day is seeing patients leaving with a beautiful, healthy smile. During her free time, she loves traveling the world with her fiance, and trying new foods from various cultures.

Vivian was born and raised in Maryland. She earned her degree in Public Health with a focus on Health Administration where she learned about her passion for patient comprehension and empowerment. Her favorite part of the day is seeing patients leave with a bright smile and a happy dental experience. In her free time, she loves to try new foods and watch Korean dramas.

Joanna is from Beltsville, Maryland with parents originally from El Salvador. She is bilingual and has been working in the dental field for over 7 years. She loves everything about dentistry and making patients feel comfortable and knowledgeable about their appointments. In her free time she loves spending time with her family, watching anime and making new memories to share with the people around her.

Briana is originally from Massachusetts, she earned her degree in Psychology with a focus on Behavior and Cognition which sparked her love for customer service. She moved to Maryland to be closer to her family after spending 3 years working in Alaska. She loves to see the happy, smiling faces of patients each day. In her free time she likes to hike, practice yoga, and spend time exploring Maryland.

Judith was born in Maryland and raised in El Salvador until the age of 14. She is bilingual and has been working in the dental field for over 14 years. Her best part of the day is seeing patients leave happy and satisfied with their dental experience. In her personal time she loves to spend time with her husband and two daughters.

Stefanny was born in Ecuador and has lived in Silver Spring for the majority of her life. She started as a Dental Assistant after graduating high school and began working at the front desk shortly after. Her favorite part about working at the practice is being able to interact with each patient and assist them with their insurance questions. When she’s not working, Stefanny is spending time with family as well as traveling and finding new food spots!

Taylor grew up in Hampstead, Maryland but now lives in Laurel. She graduated from University of Maryland, College Park and has previously worked as a dental assistant at an oral surgery practice. Now in general dentistry, she enjoys helping give patients the smiles that they deserve! Her favorite part of working at the practice is educating patients about their treatment and making them as comfortable as possible during their visits. In her free time, Taylor loves singing, hiking, and cuddling with her cat Charlie.

Originally from El Salvador, Silvia started her journey in the dental field as a front desk receptionist in 2019. However, after encountering our exceptional team, she immediately recognized the profound difference she could make as a dental assistant. Silvia finds fulfillment in patients' visible happiness and satisfaction after their dental appointments. When she's not at work, Silvia enjoys going to the movies and loves spending time with her friends, family, and cats.

Sarah is originally from Brazil ande she was actually a practicing dentist there prior to moving to the United States. She is passionate about fixing and improving teeth and helping people achieve oral health. She pursues all kinds of adventures and loves to travel the world. She lives with her husband locally in Silver Spring and they have a sweet dog named Luna.

Jary is native to Montgomery County, Maryland. She was born on Halloween and has a twin sister! Jary is a dog lover and she's a mom to 2 dogs (a micro bulldog and a french bulldog). Jary started out in dentistry in 2015 when she was a senior in highschool at Northwest and has been in dentistry ever since. She loves to care for others.

Iris has been in the dental field since 2017, and she values the high standard of patient care and teamwork at our practice, ensuring every patient receives excellent support throughout their visits. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, spending time in nature, and being with friends and family.

Wendy was born in El Salvador and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. She’s passionate about helping others and creating a welcoming environment. For the past five years, she’s worked as a dental assistant, where she enjoys supporting patients and making them feel comfortable. Wendy aims to grow in the dental field and take on new challenges. Outside of work, she stays active with a youth group, enjoys hiking, and loves shopping. She values kindness, positivity, and strong relationships.

Kelsey grew up in Downingtown, Pennsylvania, and began her journey in dentistry at just 15 years old. As a dental assistant, she quickly developed a passion not only for the art of dentistry but also for making every patient feel comfortable and supported. Her favorite part about working at the practice is the constant interaction with patients and helping create a positive experience for each one. During her free time, Kelsey enjoys spending time with friends, exploring new places, and tending to her house plants.

Raised between Texas and Takoma Park, Maryland, Alyssa attended Blair High School and discovered a passion for dentistry during the COVID-19 pandemic while working as a receptionist at a small dental office. That experience sparked an interest in oral health and inspired a career dedicated to helping others through dentistry. In her free time, she loves working as waitress at All Set and enjoying life to the fullest!

Jennifer grew up in Silver Spring, MD. She earned a degree in Health Sciences and was in the X-ray field. She pivoted careers to do something she's more passionate about - dentistry. Her favorite part about dentistry is seeing patients happy and comfortable, and being able to grow in the field. When she's not working, she likes to try new restaurants with loved ones, watch shows, and play games.
